Event Director

Rebecca West is the owner and event director of Moss & Maple Farm & Venues, where she brings more than 20 years of experience creating meaningful events that bring people together. Whether planning an intimate gathering, elegant wedding, community celebration, or large-scale festival, Rebecca is known for her thoughtful attention to detail, calm leadership, and ability to transform ideas into unforgettable experiences.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has planned and directed hundreds of events, including serving as Director of Celebration of Nations, one of Missouri's largest cultural festivals welcoming thousands of attendees, vendors, performers, and community partners each year. She also serves on the TEDx Missouri S&T leadership team, is an active member of the Rotary Club, and proudly serves as president of the Board of Directors for Bunches of Joy, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families.

Rebecca holds a master's degree and has built her career on creating connections, fostering community partnerships, and helping people celebrate life's most meaningful moments. Her background in event planning, leadership, marketing, relationship building, and project management allows her to coordinate every detail while making the planning process enjoyable and stress-free.

The Maple Package

Simple • Elegant • Stress-Free
 

Perfect for intimate weddings, anniversaries, and other celebrations. This package is ideal for clients who have many details planned but want professional coordination to bring everything together.
 

Includes:

  • Initial planning consultation with the event coordinator.

  • Private venue tours with personalized guidance to help you select the perfect backdrop for your special occasion.

  • Choice of one of our exclusive Moss & Maple Farm venues or our trusted partner venues to best match the vision, guest count, and budget. 

  • Venue amenities review & guidance – Your event coordinator will walk you through what is included with each Moss & Maple Farm and partner venue, helping you compare amenities, services, and policies. We'll explain what's included, such as tables, chairs, linens, or décor, and identify any additional requirements, such as exclusive catering, bar services, or other venue-specific fees, so there are no surprises.

  • Curated list of preferred local vendors to help you find the perfect caterer, florist, photographer, entertainment, rentals, and more. All vendor services are optional and billed separately by the individual businesses.

  • Signature Moss & Maple planning guide featuring a detailed checklist, planning timeline, and expert tips for a seamless celebration.

  • Flexible payment options

Designed for clients who want a beautifully coordinated wedding, anniversary, fundraiser banquet, or holiday party with trusted local professionals handling the details.
 

Everything in the Maple Package PLUS:

  • Full event planning assistance

  • Customized event design consultation

  • Personalized Vendor Selection – We'll help you select and schedule the perfect meal, floral arrangements, photographer, and entertainment from our trusted network of local professionals, ensuring every detail reflects your unique style.

  • Caterer, florist, photographer, and entertainment is included

  • Chairs, tables, and a selection of linens are provided for up to 200 guests. Accommodations for additional attendees are welcome and may be accommodated for an additional charge.

  • DJ or live entertainment coordination

  • Décor Consultation – We'll provide ideas, inspiration, and recommendations for your event décor. Décor rentals and purchases are not included.

  • RSVP and guest planning assistance

  • Virtual monthly planning meetings to fine-tune every event detail, answer questions, and ensure the event is exactly as you envision it.

  • Complete celebration day management (up to 10 hours)

  • Flexible payment options
